A setting with a story
Café life began on this site in 1827, and the oldest part of the present restaurant building was completed in 1839. Today, Cajsan Helmi’s restored rooms and the peaceful surroundings of Kaisaniemi Park provide a memorable setting for Afternoon Tea.

The standard selection is lactose-free. Gluten-free and vegan versions are available by advance request. For groups of more than six guests, please contact us before booking; groups of eight or more may also ask about a private cabinet.

Is Cream Tea the same experience?
No. Cajsa’s Cream Tea is a lighter scone service available without an Afternoon Tea booking, while Afternoon Tea is the larger pre-booked experience shown on this page.
