Located in Kaisaniemi Park, in the historic and recently restored Ravintola Kaisaniemi building, Cajsan Helmi brings the atmosphere of a continental tea and coffee house to the heart of Helsinki. This place has been hosting guests since 1827.

We offer daily hand-baked sweet and savory pastries from our own pastry shop, from classics to seasonal specialties. The tea selection includes over 30 tea blends that we have developed and flavored ourselves, and the selection also includes sparkling tea for special moments.

Cajsan Helmi is a place where the peace of a city park, cultural history and handcrafted delicacies meet – welcome to enjoy a moment that will be remembered.

Arrival

We are located in Kaisaniemi Park, in the heart of Helsinki. It is a 7-minute walk from the train station. There is a bike path in front of the building and for those driving, there are paid city parking spaces at Kaisaniemiranta.

Accessibility

We are generally a barrier-free destination, with a 2 cm high threshold at the entrance. We have a disabled toilet. People requiring assistance can drive directly to our door.

Other info

We only accept cards as a means of payment. We are a dog-friendly café. Prams and strollers must be left in the parking lot in our entrance hall, high chairs are available. We are a computer-free café.

Cajsa 5 O'Clock Tea

Cajsa 5 O'Clock Tea is our number one treat, where we carry the flag of traditional afternoon tea in Helsinki. Everything is made by hand from start to finish. Treats, sparkling wine, teas from Helmi, Topelius Hall and friends. It has become an unforgettable treat.

Cabinets

Cajsan Helmi has two offices: Mannerheim and Snellman. Both can seat 12 people and are connected by double doors, so they can also be used together. We have cabinets with a sales guarantee principle, a two-hour Snellman cabinet costs 300 euros and a Mannerheim cabinet costs 500 euros. Cabinets can also be booked at Cajsa 5 O'Clock Tea.

Accountability work

At Cajsan Helmi, we are committed to responsible tourism and its development. Cajsa was awarded the Good Travel Seal certification in May 2025 and the Sustainable Travel Finland certification on July 15, 2025.
