Located in Kaisaniemi Park, in the historic and recently restored Ravintola Kaisaniemi building, Cajsan Helmi brings the atmosphere of a continental tea and coffee house to the heart of Helsinki. This place has been hosting guests since 1827.
Every day, our own patisserie offers handmade sweet and savoury pastries – from beloved classics to subtle seasonal specialties. Our tea selection features dozens of our own tea blends, which we develop and flavour ourselves, and sparkling wine is also available for special moments.
Cajsan Helmi is a place where the beauty of layered history, cultural heritage, and handcrafted delicacies come together.
Welcome to enjoy a moment that will stay with you.

Cajsan Helmi Menu
Savory
The savory side of our display follows the rhythm of the day, with a daily changing selection of savory pies and pastries. For a more filling option, your choice can be served with a side salad. Our perennial favorites are the Skagen and salmon sandwiches, served on our own house-baked bread.
Sweet
Our own patisserie counter offers around a dozen carefully crafted pastries. The selection includes a wide range of options made with gluten-free ingredients, both sweet and savory, and a vegan option is always available.
Drinks
Our drinks menu includes classic coffees, TeeHelmi’s own teas – dozens of our own tea blends – lemonades and juices, as well as wines and digestifs to enjoy with coffee. Complete your visit with a glass of something sparkling: Vilarnau cava, Taittinger champagne, or Vavesaari non-alcoholic rhubarb sparkling wine.
A moment to pause, a thoughtfully curated menu, and a historic setting – welcome to Cajsan Helmi.
