Enjoy Cajsan Five O’Clock Tea in the historic Topelius Hall at Cajsan Helmi, beside Kaisaniemi Park. Our afternoon tea is prepared by hand and served with your choice from our extensive tea selection.

Booking terms

Your afternoon tea reservation is confirmed once the order has been completed on this page and you have received the order confirmation by email.

The booking is binding and cannot be cancelled. It may be moved once free of charge when you notify us at least 6 hours before the original booking time, either by email at [email protected] or by phone at 019 581 437.

The menu is lactose-free. Gluten-free and vegan versions are available by advance request.

A British tradition in historic Helsinki

The tradition of British afternoon tea dates to the 1840s, when Anna, Duchess of Bedford, began enjoying tea and a light meal with friends between lunch and dinner. At Cajsan Helmi, you can experience the same leisurely tradition in the historic Topelius Hall.

For groups of more than 6 guests, please contact us in advance. Groups of 8 or more wishing to dine in the Mannerheim or Snellman private room should contact us by email.

Arrival times are Fridays from 15:00 to 17:00 and Saturdays from 13:00 to 15:00. For groups of more than 10 guests, Cajsan Five O’Clock Tea can also be arranged at other times by agreement.
